Ive had this for a few weeks now. When I initially bought it I thought it would also dry my hair, it doesn't. I should have read the description better. But It does provide smoothness just like a flat iron. Its nice to brush and smooth the hair at the same time. It definitely does what it says :) I am a little fearful of getting the hot edges near my face, I've almost burnt myself several times. You probably couldn't use this back to back as a professional stylist because the tool itself is top heavy and the weight is awkwardly distributed throughout the mechanism. I am going to keep it since It does do a nice job straightening the hair.
